Since 1969 we have had Earth Day. I remember being a part of Earth Action which was an environmental group promoting recycling way back when. Of course I was a child (*giggles) then, as I am now (some days.)
Wisconsin was an environmental leader then as we have always been a progressive people until the recent dark days. I swear the current batch of right wing loonies are ruining our state. They are selling out as much as they can to the highest bidder. My thoughts go out more and more to where I should move in the future or do I just need to get involved in politics further than voting and voicing an opinion. Stay and fight the good fight.
