Fun on the Web March 17 2015 Happy St Patrick's Day

What are you wearing today? Will it be green?  I will but its also fine to wear blue which is a lesser known symbol ic color of Ireland.

Most people think the holiday has something to do with driving snakes out of Ireland. That was probably sybolic of the snakes of paganism. It actually celebrates the arrival of Christianity there. It is recognized by the Catholics and Lutherans alike. There are celebrations throughout Europe, Russia, South America, and of course North America.

An Irish Blessing
May the Irish hills caress you;
may her lakes and rivers bless you;
may the luck of the Irish enfold you;
may the blessings of St Patrick behold you
