Do you ever tell yourself "stop the world I want to get off this merry-go-round?" I had to do that tonight. I cancelled all my plans (even a Bar-b-q I really wanted to go to in the neighborhood) except my 9 am nail appointment and I have to mail a package to my sister at the post office. My exam is due tomorrow, I am not ready so I am doing too much.
I am spending my weekend catching up with myself. I will paint my toenails so I can wear sandals just in time for it to cool off again, clean my room, clean my car out, and post some stuff on eBay to get it outta here. That and the usual chores supplemented by some reading on rainy days should work to settle me down. Who knows, dear reader, I may even get back to posting here regularly again.
