Fun on the Web Jan 28 2015 Chalk Street Painting

I know I am in denial about winter but it is warn somewhere, isn't it?

No matter if you call it a Chalk Festival or Street Painting, "its a physically and emotionally challenging art form.  It is usually pastel chalk or tempera paints on the pavement or sidewalk.  It can be a spontaneous act, a way to get an idea out to the public, an artist trying to make a living or part of an organized event.  Large events or sponsors often hire featured artists to create custom works.  Some of the 3D works are interactive, inviting the public to become part of the art."

Look at the amazing art both on the site and through the links here:

Although this blog is not posted regularly it does explain how she got into the Street Painting scene
